Description

The Ministry of Forests, Selkirk Natural Resource District, is seeking a qualified contractor to provide aerial fertilization by helicopter over approximately 4,500 hectares using Urea fertilizer with Urease Inhibitor. The work area is mainly in the Kootenay Lake TSA, west of Creston and south of Highway 3. The contractor will prepare helicopter landing and staging areas, perform minor road improvements, and transport fertilizer from a railway siding to staging areas. The contract duration is 12 months, and the Ministry will supply the fertilizer at a facility in Abbotsford, BC.
