Notice of Intent to Award – Single Award Blanket Purchase Agreements

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Chinle Service Unit in Chinle Arizona, intends to place single - award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) with Bio Rad Laboratories, INC., for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to purchase required Quality Control materials for in-house chemistry testing, to be purchased on “as needed” basis.

The anticipated period of performance is a one one-year Base Period plus one one-year Option Period.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 339113 - Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing with a small business size of 800 employees.

No further awards will be made unless the need for Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility Laboratory Department, Chinle Service Unit, changes. The prospective, multiple-award BPAs as identified in this notice are sufficient at this time.  In accordance with Part 12.201-1(e)(3)(i)(A), establishment of multiple BPAs constitute maximum practicable competition.

Any other sources that believe they are capable of fulfilling the government requirements as described are encouraged to submit their capability statement, price lists, and catalogs to the point of contact listed below via email only and no later than May 2, 2026, 5:00pm (MST).  In the event additional BPAs are deemed to be in the best interest of the government, capable vendors may be contacted and be requested to establish a BPA with the Government.
