The Department of Defense, Department of the Army, 413th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB), Regional Contracting Office Hawaii (RCO-HI) is conducting market research for office furniture for Building T-128 at Fort Shafter, Honolulu, on behalf of the 18th MEDCOM. - Requirement covers a full suite of commercial-grade office furniture for two floors, including: - 109 commercial-grade laminate desks (minimum 30 x 48 footprint, integrated cable management, lockable pedestal where specified) - 131 ergonomic task chairs (MIRRA 2 or equivalent, adjustable features, commercial ergonomic rating) - 3 executive chairs, 4 guest chairs, 9 conference chairs, 1 conference table, 1 podium, 10 flip top desks, 3 L-shaped desks with wardrobe closet - Additional items: wall lockers, love seats, small round tables, bookshelf, credenza - All furniture must be new, fully assembled, and installed per manufacturer specifications - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; MIRRA 2 is referenced as a benchmark for ergonomic chairs - Vendors are asked to provide capability statements, delivery lead times (with emphasis on accelerated delivery), budgetary pricing, and relevant past performance - Detailed product specifications and floor plans are referenced in attachments

Description

The Government is conducting market research to identify capable sources for office furniture for Building T-128 at Fort Shafter, Honolulu. The requirement includes workstations, seating, storage, and related ancillary furnishings. See attached floor plan and salient characteristics for details. Vendors are requested to provide capability information and identify their ability to meet the requirement. Vendors are also encouraged to provide information regarding delivery lead times (with emphasis on accelerated delivery capability), budgetary pricing/rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates, and relevant past performance, as these areas are of particular interest to the Government for market research purposes. This is not a request for quotes and does not constitute a solicitation.
