This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.1. Description of Requirement:The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for a Preventative Maintenance Agreement for Three (3) SEAL Analytical instruments. 2. Applicable Regulations:This acquisition will be conducted under FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures).3. Factor 1 Technical Approach and Preventative Maintenance Plan, Factor 2 Qualifications, Certifications, and Experience of Technicians, and Factor 3 Past Performance of Similar Preventative Maintenance Contracts are of greater importance than price. 8.
