The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is seeking translation and interpretation services for the 40th International Drug Enforcement Conference (IDEC) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration, Office of Acquisition - Scope of Services: - Translation and interpretation in English, Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic, and Portuguese - Both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation required - Notetaking and preparation of translations - Interpreter coordination - Technical and Equipment Requirements: - 4 interpreters per language for 3 days - 8 soundproof isolation booths for translators - 400+ infrared (IR) receivers with headphones for attendees - Fully equipped interpretation booths with consoles, headsets, and technical staff for breakout rooms - Audio-visual support including microphones, relay systems, ventilation, lighting, and other A/V production equipment - Logistics: - Travel accommodations for interpreters, including airfare, ground transportation, meals, hotel, and travel time compensation - Accommodation for local interpreters (ground transportation, meals, travel time) - Unique Requirements: - Interpreter overtime hourly rate (pre-approved by contracting officer) - Firm fixed price purchase order - 100% Small Business set-aside; offerors must have an active SAM.gov account - No specific OEMs or named vendors are referenced in the solicitation.

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes as the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number D-26-OE-0009 is being used as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This will be solicited under NAICS Code 541930 – Translation and Interpretation Services
