The Air Force is seeking industry input for depot activation capabilities to support the F-15EX Modular Instrumentation Traffic Recorder (MITR) Digital Video Recorder (DVR). - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force - Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), F-15 Directorate (AFLCMC/WAQ) - Products and Services Requested: - F-15EX MITR-DVR hardware, associated parts, and spares - Specialized Test Equipment (STE), Test Program Sets (TPS), and Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) for depot-level testing and repair - Training for USAF Maintenance Technicians on test and repair processes, operation, maintenance, and calibration of STE - Technical data/software rights to support maintenance and repair verification - Transition planning from contractor to government support - Unique Requirements: - Rights in technical data and software to ensure proper maintenance and repair verification - Focus on organic (in-house) maintenance and long-term support strategies - Industry input requested on technical data rights, cost, schedule, and performance to improve supply chain efficiency - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the documents - Place of Performance and Delivery: - Wright Patterson AFB, OH (contracting office) - Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, F-15 Directorate (government facility)

Description

This request for information focuses on the provision of the above-referenced Depot Activation capabilities for the F-15 EX’s current EX Modular Instrumentation Traffic Recorder (MITR) Digital Video Recorder (DVR). The repair and maintenance of the MITR-DVR requires not only the MITR-DVR itself but all associated parts/spares and the rights in technical data necessary to maintain and ensure the software used in the displays functions correctly to support verification of repairs at designated ALC.
