RFI: Depot Activation Capabilities for F-15EX Rudder Sensor

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), F-15 Directorate at Wright Patterson Air Force Base is seeking industry input for depot activation capabilities to support the F-15EX Rudder Sensor program. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force - Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, F-15 Directorate (AFLCMC/WAQ) - Scope of Request: - Provision of depot-level maintenance and repair capabilities for the F-15EX Rudder Sensor - Includes the sensor, all associated parts and spares - Design, build, and/or purchase of Specialized Test Equipment (STE), Test Program Sets (TPS), and Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) for hardware testing and repair - Training for USAF Maintenance Technicians on test and repair processes and equipment operation - Provision of technical data rights and software support to ensure proper maintenance and repair verification - Unique Requirements: - Rights in technical data and software to support organic maintenance and repair - Focus on long-term support strategies and supply chain efficiency - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the request. - Place of Performance and Government Facility: - Wright Patterson Air Force Base (contracting office) - Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, F-15 Directorate (AFLCMC/WAQ)

Description

This request for information focuses on the provision of the above-referenced Depot Activation capabilities for the F-15 EX’s current EX Rudder Sensor. The repair and maintenance of the Rudder Sensor requires not only the Rudder Sensor itself but all associated parts/spares and the rights in technical data necessary to maintain and ensure the software used in the displays functions correctly to support verification of repairs at designated ALC.
