Description
This notice announces that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has determined that conditions in Venezuela no longer pose a threat to the safety and security of passengers, aircraft, and crew. Consequently, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has rescinded the 2019 order suspending all direct commercial passenger and cargo flights between the United States and Venezuela. DHS is working to re-establish commercial air transportation between the two countries and is conducting individual airport security assessments to ensure safe operations. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is coordinating with Venezuelan authorities and air carriers to resume service.
