Union County Facilities Management is seeking qualified architectural firms to provide professional services for capital improvement projects on an as-needed basis. - Government Buyer: - Union County, North Carolina - Facilities Management, Procurement & Contract Management Department - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named, as this is a professional services solicitation for architectural firms - Products/Services Requested: - Architectural services for capital improvement projects, including: - Traditional architectural design - Engineering - Construction administration - Facility assessments - Feasibility studies - Interior design - Other related services for projects identified in the 2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and Water CIP - Services must be performed by or under the responsible charge of a North Carolina licensed architect - SOQ must identify the licensed professional responsible, including name, discipline, and license number - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Up to four firms may be selected for as-needed task order assignments - Firms must comply with North Carolina General Statutes 143-64.31 - Encouragement of participation from Minority Businesses (HUB Certified) and Small Businesses - No price or work product required with SOQ submission - Submissions must be electronic; paper submissions are not accepted - Services are for projects under $500,000 as identified in the 2026 CIP and Water CIP

Union County, North Carolina, through Union County Facilities Management, is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide architectural services for various capital improvement projects on an as-needed basis. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) does not require firms to submit price information or work product with their submittal packages. Firms must comply with North Carolina General Statutes 143-64.31 and identify a North Carolina licensed professional responsible for the work. Submittals are due electronically by 11:00 AM EDT on May 28, 2026.
