The Town of Salisbury, New Brunswick, is seeking qualified firms to construct approximately 1,457 meters of new trails and related amenities in two locations within Salisbury. - Government Buyer: - Town of Salisbury, New Brunswick - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products and Services Requested: - Construction of new trails and amenities, including: - 4,400 sq.m of tree clearing and grubbing - 1,457 linear meters of 3.0m stonedust trail - 10,800 units of crushed sandstone subbase - Multiple HDPE and reinforced concrete culverts (various sizes and quantities) - 16 deciduous trees and 6 ornamental grasses for landscaping - Timber railings, trail gates (4.0m and 7.5m wide), landscape boulders - Parking area construction, concrete bench and waste receptacle pads, curb stops, and signage - Silt fencing for erosion control, topsoil and hydroseeding, guide rail modifications, painted parking lines, tree pruning, and manhole modifications - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Compliance with environmental permits and insurance requirements - Submission of a Clearance Letter from Work Safe NB and a Letter of Good Standing from the NB Construction Safety Association - Bid bond or certified cheque required with bid submission - Minimum 12-month warranty and maintenance period after completion; insurance coverage for up to 6 years for completed operations - All work to be performed in Salisbury, New Brunswick

The work includes continuation of 2024 trail work from the shared use ATV/Pedestrian trail near Parkin St. to the wastewater treatment access road off Alex Ave., and a trail connection from Main St. to River Rd. and the existing trail system along the sewer easement. Bids must comply with the provided Terms and Conditions, Specifications, Terms of Reference, and Appendices, and be submitted by May 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM local time.
