The University of Iowa is seeking qualified suppliers to provide Epic implementation and training services to support its Health Care system and Community Connect sites. - Government Buyer: - University of Iowa, including University of Iowa Health Care and Purchasing Department - OEM Highlight: - Epic Systems Corporation (Epic) is the primary and required Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for all software modules and services - Vendors/Contractors: - Suppliers must provide Epic-certified personnel; no specific resellers or integrators are named - Products/Services Requested: - Professional services for implementation, configuration, support, and training across a wide range of Epic modules, including: - EpicCare Ambulatory/Orders, Inpatient/Orders, ASAP, MyChart/Welcome, Willow Inpatient and Ambulatory, Beaker, OpTime/Anesthesia, Cadence/Referrals, Prelude, Grand Central/ADT, Resolute PB and HB, Claims & Remittance, Radiant, Stork, Beacon, Dorothy, Hello World, Unified Communications, Location Services, HIM, Reporting (Cogito, Caboodle, Clarity, Regulatory Reporting), Interface (Bridges), Cupid - Project management, education, and implementation specialists/trainers - Application development and customer-facing implementation - Services may range from a few hours to up to 12 months per engagement - Both remote and onsite work required, especially for go-live, milestones, and training - Notable Requirements: - All personnel must be Epic-certified for their respective roles - Suppliers must submit detailed proposals, resumes, itemized quotes with hourly rates, and audited financial statements - Adherence to University travel and expense policies; travel reimbursed separately - Ability to provide a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) if required - Flexibility to support additional Epic modules or certifications as needs evolve - No minimum engagement durations are guaranteed; University may reassign resources as needed - Contract Structure: - Initial contract term is one year, with up to four one-year option periods (potential total of five years) - Services may be required for short-term or large-scale projects - Locations: - University of Iowa Health Care clinical enterprise, including medical centers on the university campus, downtown Iowa City campus, and North Liberty campus - Most work performed remotely, with some onsite presence required
