This opportunity seeks a contractor to provide off-site tele-radiology physician services for the Asheville VA Medical Center and related VA facilities. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 6, Asheville VA Medical Center - Services Requested: - Off-site tele-radiology physician services, including interpretation of radiologic and nuclear medicine studies (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, PET/CT, plain films, CTA, MR Prostate, etc.) - Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiologists required - Estimated annual exam quantities per type (e.g., up to 1,500 CT exams, 1,000 MR exams, 900 CT Abdomen & Pelvis exams, 25 PET/CT, etc.) - Services must comply with American College of Radiology (ACR) and VA standards - 24/7 availability for consultation and STAT exams - Credentialing, privileging, quality assurance, HIPAA compliance, and timely report delivery required - Secure data transmission and privacy policy adherence - Existing National IT Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) required - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (FFP-IDIQ) contract - Base year plus four one-year option periods (up to five years total) - Estimated maximum of 5,407 reads per year, not exceeding 27,035 reads over the contract term - Malpractice insurance and compliance with VA regulations - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named; the procurement is strictly for professional radiology services.

Description

Services Provided: The Contractor shall provide Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiology Physician Services in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Asheville VAMC. The VA Radiology Services follow the standards & guidelines set forth by American College of Radiology (ACR) Practice Parameters and Technical Standards | American College of Radiology (acr.org).  An existing National IT Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) must be in place and shall meet or exceed VA and the American College of Radiology Guidelines.
