Description

The City of Issaquah Department of Public Works is seeking consultant services for the design of pedestrian crossing safety improvements at two locations. The project involves installing enhancements such as RRFBs and/or PHBs, striping, signing, curb ramps, driveway aprons, ADA ramps, and possibly lighting. The two locations are SE Evans Street and 2nd Ave SE, where an existing crossing will be retrofitted with a flashing beacon, and E Sunset Way and 6th Ave, where a new crossing with flashing beacon will be constructed, including additional concrete work, drainage impacts, landscaping with irrigation, and possibly lighting. The city may retain the successful firm for subsequent phases.
