Description

This solicitation is for on-call backflow testing services to provide an alternative compliance mechanism for property owners and managers of multi-family premises who fail to complete the required annual testing of backflow prevention assemblies. The services aim to ensure regulatory compliance with the California Cross-Connection Control Policy Handbook and the City of Ontario Municipal Code, prevent water service shutoff, reduce cross-connection and backflow risks, and protect the City's drinking water system. The contract is a State Prevailing Wage Project with award made by the City Council. Bidders must submit pricing on line items and a Non-Collusion Declaration Form electronically by May 11, 2026.
