The United States Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit (CEU) Providence has a requirement for a contractor to provide construction services to Replace Medium Voltage Cutoff Switches at USCG Joint Base Cape Cod, 5201 Lee Rd., Buzzards Bay, MA
This solicitation is being advertised as a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. Only one award will be made. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 4 May 2026. The procurement method is Sealed Bidding, FAR Part 14.

Project Description:
The project consists of (1) base bid item.
Base Bid Item:
Replace Medium Voltage Transformer Cutoff Switches: Contractor shall furnish all design, labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation and disposal necessary to provide a complete operational 5KV distribution system that meets or exceeds the National Electrical Code. Work includes Replacing two medium voltage transformer cutoff switches and their cabinets.
All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the project specifications (PSN 16677450), project drawings, all local, State, and Federal Codes and all required permitting
Period of Performance:
The period of performance for the project is 270 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed.
Contract Magnitude: The magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000 and $500,000 IAW FAR 36.204.
