The U.S. Army Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide annual preventive maintenance and emergency repair services for three Charmilles EDM RoboForm machines at its facility in Corpus Christi, Texas. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army, Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) - Contracting Office: W6QK CCAD Contracting Office, Corpus Christi, TX - OEMs and Vendors: - Charmilles (OEM for EDM RoboForm machines) - Products/Services Requested: - Annual preventive maintenance for three Charmilles EDM RoboForm machines (models: RoboForm 550, FO55P, FO30) - One PM visit per year per machine - Includes labor, travel, and limited spare parts - Service/Maintenance Kits (up to one per machine per year) - Includes filters, gaskets, belts, replacement cable kit, rubber bellows, seals/O-rings, and consumable parts - Emergency callout repair services as needed - Software maintenance and updates - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must have OEM certifications and expertise for Charmilles EDM RoboForm equipment - Must adhere to OEM standards for maintenance and repairs - 98% on-time service and parts support required - Compliance with strict security, safety, and environmental regulations - Advance scheduling for PM visits (at least 20 days) - Place of Performance: - Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, TX (Building 8 Machine Shop)

The Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal-Corpus Christi Army Depot, Contracting Office in Corpus Christi, Texas is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources that can provide Preventive Maintenance, repairs, and software upgrades in accordance with the guidance contained herein. The potential vendor must possess the requisite knowledge and OEM certifications necessary to perform machine maintenance and software updates.  Please refer to the attached Performance Work Statement for additional information.  If your firm possesses the requisite skill and certifications to successfully fulfill this requirement, please respond to the procurement point of contact (harold.w.russell.civ@army.mil) confirming your interest and possession of OEM certifications.

The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions.
