This opportunity seeks qualified third-party inspection services for elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, chairlifts, and dock lifts at multiple Army installations in the National Capital Region. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Army / U.S. Army - Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Belvoir - Contracting Office: W6QM MICC-FT Belvoir - Scope of Services: - Annual safety inspections and certifications for elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, chairlifts, and dock lifts - Oversight of incumbent maintenance contractor's annual inspections and testing - Certification of compliance with ASME A17.1/A17.2/A17.3 standards - Required 5-year traction elevator testing (including load testing) during the base year - Re-inspection of up to 10 failed units per year at no additional cost - Submission of written inspection/test reports within 3 business days - iWATCH training and reporting for contractor personnel - Quantities and Locations: - Fort Myer: 11 units - Fort McNair: 27 units - Henderson Hall: 7 units - Escalators: 4 units - Reinspection: Up to 10 failed units annually - Requirements: - Inspectors must be certified and licensed in Virginia and Washington D.C. - Small business set-aside under NAICS 541350 (Building Inspection Services) - Cost breakdown required per unit, location, and year - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are named; services only - Period of Performance: - Base year (12 months) plus four 12-month option years, with potential 6-month extension - Place of Performance: - Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBMHH), Fort Myer, Fort McNair, Henderson Hall (all in VA/DC area) - Contracting office at Fort Belvoir, VA

Description

 This is a non-personal services contract to provide qualified Third-Party Inspectors to oversee the Inspection services for Elevators,  Dumbwaiter, Chairlift and Escalators. The contractors will oversee and certify equipment to comply with Annual Safety Inspections. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein.  Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.
