Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), managed by the U.S. Department of Energy, is seeking proposals for the supply of telemanipulators for its Modular Hot Cell - Test Article project. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), ORNL Procurement Office - Products/Services Requested: - Telemanipulators (total quantity: 2) - Both three-piece and one-piece designs will be considered (2 units each design specified in attachments) - Must meet detailed mechanical, electrical, and quality assurance requirements - Construction: aluminum or stainless steel - Lifting capacity: 10 lb - Specific motion ranges, tamper locks, and radiation-resistant lubricants required - Delivery of technical documentation and spare parts lists - Tongs Sets (6 sets total) - Three sets per telemanipulator: stainless steel, aluminum, and aluminum with screw-in replaceable rubber grips - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with minimum technical specifications and size constraints as outlined in the attachments - Quality assurance standards must be met - Technical feasibility and affordability will be evaluated - Delivery required by the specified date after receipt of order - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or part numbers are identified in the solicitation - Place of Performance: - Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, Tennessee

Request for Proposal PR432386 RPF Telemanipulators

UT-Battelle, LLC (the Company), is the Management & Operations contractor for the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) located in Oak Ridge, TN. In support of a Department of Energy (DOE) funded project, the Company is seeking a quantity of two (2) telemanipulators of either of the two options, a three (3) piece design and a one (1) piece design, will be evaluated for functionality and cost. Please see Attachment C for exact specifications.    Attachment a contains the minimum specifications. Size dimensions are based on a common unit in the commercial marketplace that will fit our allotted space to meet some of the minimum requirements needed. Suppliers must be able to meet the minimum requirements or to provide a functional equivalent.
