NGA RFI: Support and Enhancement for Aeronautical Mobile Application (AMA)

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking industry input to support, sustain, and enhance its Aeronautical Mobile Application (AMA), which delivers critical aeronautical data to the Department of Defense and partners. - Government Buyer: - National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) - SOURCE Directorate, Aeronautical Navigation Office (SFA) - Scope of Services Requested: - Sustainment, enhancement, and continuous delivery of the Aeronautical Mobile Application (AMA) - Software development, integration, and maintenance for AMA across iOS, Android, MacOS, and Windows platforms - Data processing and delivery on 28-day AIRAC cycles - Cloud storage management and cybersecurity compliance - Customer support and operations - Agile development methodology with 16-week release cycles and 2-week sprints - Transition-in and transition-out support - Key Requirements: - Compliance with NGA policies and security directives - ISO and AS9100D certifications - Annual certifications and audits - Key personnel: Program Manager and Lead Engineer - No specific OEMs, vendors, part numbers, or product quantities are identified at this RFI stage - Period of Performance: - Base year with four 1-year option periods (potential total of five years) - Primary Places of Performance: - NGA East (Washington) - NGA West (St. Louis) - NGA contracting offices (business hours, EST) - Unique Aspects: - Emphasis on secure, timely aeronautical data delivery and strict cybersecurity - Support for multiple operating systems and continuous software updates - Adherence to agile development and industry certifications
