The Malheur National Forest has a requirement to purchase cattleguards and cattleguard components for Disaster Recovery in the Rail Ridge Fire Area.
The Forest will utilize local equipment and personnel to remove and replace the existing damaged cattleguards. This is just a purchase for supplies and delivery of the supplies to the Forest Service compound in John Day, OR.
The USFS intends to install 4 complete cattleguard assemblies but also intends to replace only the bases under 3 existing cattleguards on the forest. For this reason, there are 4 complete cattleguard assemblies listed in the quantities section of this document, as well as 3 additional “base assemblies.”
