Fort Pierce Utilities Authority is soliciting bids for the supply of approximately 125,400 lbs. per year (about 11,000 gallons) of Ortho/Polyphosphate Blended Liquid used as a corrosion inhibitor. The product must meet specific chemical and physical requirements including a 50/50 Ortho/Polyphosphate ratio, be a stable, colorless, clear liquid free of impurities, have a pH between 4.0 and 7.0, specific gravity of 1.40 ± 0.05, and be ANSI/NSF Standard 60 approved for potable water use. The quantity is an estimate and the authority reserves the right to purchase more or less. Bids are due by May 15, 2026.
