This opportunity seeks qualified civil engineering firms to provide consulting services for the design and construction support of new sewer mains for the East Palo Alto Sanitary District (EPASD) Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) 1.1 and 1.2. - Government Buyer: - East Palo Alto Sanitary District (EPASD), managed by Utility Manager Matt Vining - Scope of Work: - Consulting services for preliminary design, survey, potholing (up to 30 potholes), underground utility investigation, and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) - Project management, bid package preparation, and construction support - Coordination with the City of Menlo Park (Elliot Drive) and PG&E (Beech Street) for utility conflicts - Products and Quantities: - Sewer Main Pipe (DR 17 HDPE): - 8 inch: ~5,232 linear feet - 10 inch: ~1,665 linear feet - 12 inch: ~1,567 linear feet - 16 inch: 533 linear feet - 30 inch: 1,441 linear feet - Manholes: 33 total (19 for CIP 1.1, 14 for CIP 1.2) - Services Requested: - Project management, survey, potholing, design development (50% and 100% plan submittals), bid and construction support - Unique Requirements: - Coordination with multiple jurisdictions and utility providers - Deliverables include plan sets, specifications, engineers' estimates, and construction schedules - Work to be performed on various streets in East Palo Alto and Menlo Park - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to all qualified civil engineering consultants - Project Goals: - Upgrade aging infrastructure, increase system reliability, and meet future wastewater flow demands

The East Palo Alto Sanitary District (EPASD) is soliciting proposals from qualified professional civil engineering firms for consulting services related to the design of new sewer mains under Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) 1.1 and 1.2. The scope includes preliminary design, survey, potholing, preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates, as well as bidding and construction support.
