The Texas Department of Public Safety, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Service, is soliciting bids for the purchase of semi-portable commercial motor vehicle weighing scales. These scales are intended to enhance roadway safety by enabling enforcement personnel to accurately identify overweight and improperly loaded commercial vehicles at locations where fixed weigh stations are unavailable or impractical.
