The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking qualified 8(a) Small Businesses to overhaul its 32-foot Transportable Port Security Boats (TPSB) and associated trailers, supporting Port Security Units nationwide. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Procurement Branch 3 - Port Security Units (end users) - OEMs and Vendors: - Yanmar (diesel engines) - Mercruiser (sterndrives) - Products/Services Requested: - Overhaul and comprehensive maintenance of up to 8 CG 32 TPSB boats and trailers per period, with options for 2 additional units - Includes operational tests, hull and trailer maintenance, dashboard refurbishment, and general welding - Engine and sterndrive replacement or service (using Government Furnished Equipment: Yanmar 6LPA-STZC3 diesel engines and Mercruiser Bravo 1XR sterndrives) - Preventive maintenance guided by Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs) - Documentation of additional repairs via Condition Found Reports (CFRs) - "Over and Above" work for unforeseen repairs with Contracting Officer approval - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must supply OEM parts and consumables for maintenance - Work must be performed in accordance with detailed Work Specification Sheet (WSS) - Recurring maintenance cycles: 2 boats every 3 months, 10 weeks per cycle - Respondents must demonstrate relevant experience in similar government or commercial work - Place of Performance: - Primary: Curtis Bay, Maryland (SFLC facility) - Boats originate from Port Security Units across the U.S.

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, no award to follow. Pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research). The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) is seeking qualified 8(a) Small Business category sources that are capable of satisfying the agency's requirement by overhauling the USCG's 32-foot Transportable Port Security Boat (TPSB) in accordance with the attached Work Specification Sheet (WSS).
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Interested parties should register in the System for Award Management (SAM) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. SAM can be obtained by accessing the internet at www.sam.gov, or by calling 1-866-606-8220.
Companies having capabilities to provide these services are invited to submit complete information discussing their capabilities no later than the close date of this notice (5/15/2026). The information submitted must include:
1. Name of Company, Address and UEI Number
2. Point of Contact and Phone Number
3. Business Size applicable to the NAICS Code (must be Small Business 8(a) concern)
4. Complete and current data to demonstrate capability of meeting the requirements as outlined in the WSS via a capabilities proposal, not to exceed 5 pages. Emphasis should be on current or previous experience in performing this type of work in either the Commercial or Government space. If you would like to provide photos of your capabilities/work location, this will not affect the page count.
