Description
The Santa Barbara County Association of Governments (SBCAG) is seeking input from vanpool service providers, mobility operators, fleet vendors, and technology partners on the feasibility of implementing a fixed-fare vanpool subsidy model within a public agency-sponsored commuter program. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to gather insights on how vendors could support or adapt to a fixed-fare framework, including pricing, mileage management, reporting, fleet management, billing, and customer service. SBCAG is funded through Measure A and allocates approximately $7 million to transportation demand management strategies. The agency is exploring a hybrid vanpool program structure involving private and public fleets and is seeking vendor feedback to shape future solicitations.
