Description

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is finalizing approval of the State of Arizona's State Implementation Plan (SIP) revisions that address interstate transport requirements under the Clean Air Act for the 2012 fine particulate matter (PM2.5) National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). The SIP contains adequate provisions to prohibit emissions within Arizona that significantly contribute to nonattainment or interfere with maintenance of the 2012 PM2.5 NAAQS in any other state.
