Description
California Polytechnic State University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) intends to repatriate 21 cultural items identified as objects of cultural patrimony affiliated with the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation. These items, including lithic flakes, scrapers, and points, were collected during an archaeological field school and are culturally significant to the affiliated Native American tribe. Repatriation may occur on or after May 18, 2026, and requests for repatriation can be submitted by lineal descendants or culturally affiliated tribes.
