NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) is seeking brand name fiber optic cables and accessories to support network infrastructure maintenance and SCIF accreditation: - Government Buyer: - NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), with procurement managed by NASA Shared Services Center - OEMs and Vendors: - Corning Incorporated (primary OEM for fiber optic cables, panels, jumpers, adapters, and accessories) - Panduit Corporation (primary OEM for patch cords, connectivity solutions, and cable management) - Ortronics (magnet accessory) - Fluke (fiber cleaning tools) - Velcro (cable management accessory) - Products/Services Requested: - Large quantities of Corning fiber optic cables (e.g., 8-strand OM4, 4-fiber MIC cables in various colors) - Corning CCH panels, splice trays, wallplates, jumpers, adapters, and connectors - Panduit CAT 6A shielded patch cords (multiple lengths and quantities up to 5,000 units) - Ancillary items: Ortronics magnets, Fluke Quick Clean fiber cleaners, Velcro hook-and-loop closures, Panduit vinyl labels, and locking ties - All products must be on the NASA OCIO Approved Products List and support the AEGIS 25-year system warranty - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Only brand name Corning and Panduit products are acceptable; alternates would void the system warranty and cause compatibility/training issues - Quantities range from single units to 10,000 units depending on the item - Delivery required within 30 days after receipt of order (ARO) - Compliance with MSFC network standards and SCIF accreditation requirements - Place of Performance/Delivery: - NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama 35812 - Contracting office at NASA Shared Services Center, Stennis Space Center, Mississippi
