Description

This project involves upgrading the fire alarm system at Lethbridge Polytechnic by migrating from an EST3 copper network to an EST4 fibre network. The scope includes replacing existing fire alarm control panels, installing conduit and patch cabling to fibre interconnection cabinets, connecting new EST4 panels to the fibre network, and programming and verifying all fire alarm devices. The work must maintain operation of both the existing copper and new fibre loops during transition, with final decommissioning of the copper loop after full EST4 network operation. The contract duration is approximately 2 months starting mid-June 2026.
