Jefferson Parish is seeking proposals for comprehensive food and related services to support citizens in emergency shelters during declared emergencies. - Government Buyer: - Jefferson Parish Department of Purchasing, in coordination with the Department of Emergency Management - Products and Services Requested: - Meal service plans (A-D) for emergency sheltering, including: - Plan A: Three hot meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) with beverages, fresh fruit, coffee, and snacks (minimum 75 meals) - Plan B: Two hot meals (breakfast, dinner) and one cold meal (lunch) with beverages, fresh fruit, coffee, snacks, and insulated box meal (minimum 75 meals) - Plan C: One hot meal and two cold meals with beverages, fresh fruit, coffee, snacks, and insulated box meal (minimum 75 meals) - Plan D: Box meals with beverages, insulated box meal, and special dietary accommodations (minimum 50 meals) - Food preparation, serving, and cleanup services at shelter locations - Includes provision of biodegradable disposable plates, cups, utensils, napkins, and paper towels - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Vendors must be able to mobilize and begin service within 24 hours of notice - Must maintain a vendor network and comply with all health and safety standards - Pricing is based on meal plans with minimum order quantities; Plan B is the primary evaluation focus - Special dietary needs must be accommodated - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - Place of Performance: - Jefferson Parish Emergency Shelter Locations and the Jefferson Parish Emergency Operations Center in Gretna, Louisiana
