The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking a one-year renewal of the OEM Service Level Agreement (SLA) for its FUJIFILM VisualSonics Vevo F2 High-Resolution In Vivo Imaging System. - Government Buyer: - National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) - OEM and Vendor: - FUJIFILM VisualSonics Corporation (OEM and sole authorized service provider) - Products/Services Requested: - One-year OEM Service Level Agreement renewal for the Vevo F2 Imaging System - Includes: - One annual preventive maintenance visit - Unlimited corrective maintenance - OEM-certified replacement parts - Labor and travel - Proprietary software and firmware updates - Telephone and remote technical support - Service coverage for system components and transducers - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Only FUJIFILM VisualSonics is authorized to provide OEM-certified maintenance and support for the Vevo F2 system - Use of non-OEM services would void the manufacturer warranty - The service is critical for uninterrupted preclinical cardiovascular research at the NHLBI Murine Phenotyping Core - Estimated Contract Value: - Approximately $19,385 for the one-year agreement - Place of Performance: - NHLBI Murine Phenotyping Core, Bethesda, MD (NIH federal facility)

This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract without providing for full and open competition in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 (41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1)) – Only One Responsible Source.

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order to FUJIFILM VisualSonics Corporation for a one-year OEM Service Level Agreement (SLA) renewal for the Vevo F2 High-Resolution In Vivo Imaging System currently in use at the NHLBI Murine Phenotyping Core, Bethesda, MD.

Services include one (1) annual preventive maintenance visit, unlimited corrective maintenance, OEM-certified replacement parts, labor and travel, proprietary software and firmware updates, and technical support for the Vevo F2 system and associated transducers.

FUJIFILM VisualSonics Corporation is the only authorized provider of OEM-certified maintenance services for this proprietary system. No other vendor can perform these services without voiding the manufacturer warranty.

Responses will be used solely to determine whether to proceed on a non-competitive basis or conduct a competitive procurement. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract.
