The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is seeking a contractor to provide hopper dredge services for river maintenance: - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New Orleans District (ENDIST NEW ORLEANS), Department of Defense - Scope of Work: - Furnishing one fully crewed and equipped self-propelled trailing suction type hopper dredge - Dredging operations to be performed in the Mississippi River, Southwest Pass, and potentially other areas inside or outside the New Orleans District - Products/Services Requested: - Complete dredging service, including both vessel and crew - No specific OEMs, part numbers, or vendors identified in the solicitation - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide a fully operational dredge with all necessary equipment and personnel - Estimated project value is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000 - Work supports river maintenance and navigation - Locations: - Primary work in the Mississippi River and Southwest Pass - Contracting office located at USACE District, New Orleans, 7400 Leake Ave, New Orleans, LA - Place of performance may include Plaquemine, Louisiana and other areas as needed

Mississippi River, Baton Rouge to Gulf, Southwest Pass Hopper Dredge Contract No. 5-2026 (OM26005)

The work consists of furnishing one fully crewed and equipped self-propelled trailing suction type hopper dredge. Work will be performed in Mississippi River and Southwest Pass and possibly in other areas inside and outside of the New Orleans District.

The magnitude of construction range for this Dredge project is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.

This solicitation will be issued on or about 30 Apr 2026 and a bid opening date will be established in a future amendment.
