NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO West - Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS), intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, UCLA Semel Institute Statistical Unit (SIStat). The statutory authority for restricting competition under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Single Source, commercial item acquisitions not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), currently $350,000, is implemented by FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. UCLA Semel Institute Statistical Unit (SIStat), will provide Data Management and Statistical Analysis. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611310 with a size standard of $27.5M. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the point of contact no later than 12:00 P.M., (PST) on April 24th, 2026. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
