Description

The DON CIO requires IT and IT-related support services in the following classified and unclassified areas: database administration, software development, data center operational support, data center migration, advanced system and network administration, information assurance, portfolio management, customer services and helpdesk, Video Teleconferencing (VTC), telecommunications, NMCI tech refreshes, mobility and wireless equipment upgrades, inventory logs, maintenance of SharePoint server farms and sites, portal upgrades, and engineering/development/integration of DON CIO Claimancy/SECNAV Headquarters’ hardware, software, and related systems. The contractor shall also support, transition, and sustain all systems/applications from DICAP to Risk Management Framework (RMF) and shall update and/or create policy, technical and non-technical documentation that is required to successfully obtain a RMF Authorization to Operate (ATO) or any new framework that may supersede the current RMF framework. In addition, the contractor shall support DON CIO’s transition away from its current hosting environment and a variety of legacy system, while continuing to operate, maintain and manage operating systems in their current configuration until the transition has been successfully completed. During transition periods, the contractor shall work to ensure continuity of operations, minimizing any disruption to the existing operations, and maximizing use of existing assets.
