This opportunity seeks professional civil engineering consulting services for the design of new sewer mains under Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) 1.1 and 1.2 for the East Palo Alto Sanitary District (EPASD). - Government Buyer: - East Palo Alto Sanitary District (EPASD), Utility Manager's Office - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named; the solicitation is open to all qualified civil engineering firms - Products/Services Requested: - Consulting services for preliminary design, field and topographic survey, potholing (up to 30 locations), underground utility investigation, preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E), and engineering support during bidding and construction - Design and installation of: - Approximately 5,232 linear feet of 8-inch DR 17 HDPE sewer main pipe - 1,665 linear feet of 10-inch DR 17 HDPE sewer main pipe - 1,567 linear feet of 12-inch DR 17 HDPE sewer main pipe - 533 linear feet of 16-inch DR 17 HDPE sewer main pipe - 1,441 linear feet of 30-inch DR 17 HDPE sewer main pipe - 33 manholes (19 for CIP 1.1, 14 for CIP 1.2) - Project management, survey, potholing, design development, bid support, and construction support services - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Coordination with the City of Menlo Park for work on Elliot Drive - Coordination with PG&E for underground utility conflicts on Beech Street - Deliverables include multiple plan sets, specifications, engineers' estimates, bid and construction schedules, and support during bidding and construction phases - Selection based on experience, project understanding, approach, and references - Locations: - Project sites within the City of East Palo Alto (Menalto Avenue, Elliot Drive, Poplar Avenue, Ralmar Avenue, Larkspur Drive, Gardenia Avenue, Beech St., Bay Creek Trail Trunk Line) - Eliot Drive within Menlo Park city limits - East Palo Alto Sanitary District office at 901 Weeks St., East Palo Alto, CA 94303

The East Palo Alto Sanitary District (EPASD) is soliciting proposals from qualified professional civil engineering firms for consulting services related to the design of new sewer mains under Capital Improvement Projects 1.1 and 1.2. The scope includes preliminary design, survey, potholing, preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates, as well as bidding and construction support.
