Description

The Houston Independent School District (HISD) is soliciting proposals for Medical Plan, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) / Claims Payor Services. The contract term is tentatively from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, with four automatic annual renewals not to extend beyond June 30, 2032. Vendors must submit proposals and comply with HISD's insurance and Minority/Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) requirements. A virtual pre-proposal conference will be held on April 22, 2026, and proposals are due by May 20, 2026.
