Description

The City of San Diego is soliciting proposals for an as-needed contract to provide Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) consulting services. The contract will support planning, design, and implementation of ITS elements and an upgraded traffic signal communications network. Services include preparation of reports, grant applications, schematics, studies, design and construction documents related to traffic engineering, operations, and ITS components such as controllers, detection systems, message signs, adaptive control, fiber optic and wireless systems, and traffic signal timing. The contract duration is 60 months with an estimated value of $3,000,000. Proposals are due electronically by May 28, 2026.
