Description
The Springfield Redevelopment Authority is soliciting bids for site enabling work related to the Willow Street Parking Garage Project. The scope includes installation of a temporary construction fence with gates and stone tracking pads, removal and salvaging of site appurtenances, demolition of existing parking lot pavements and other improvements, capping and removal of underground utilities, removal and off-site disposal of non-engineered urban fill, excavation of buried slabs and walls, and placement and compaction of imported gravel fill to establish the final subgrade. The work explicitly excludes construction of the parking garage foundation and structure, which will be contracted separately. A site visit is strongly encouraged on April 6, 2026, and all questions must be submitted in writing by April 8, 2026.
