Subject: Site Visit Information

This amendment is issued to provide clarification regarding site visits.

A site visit is not required for the submission of quotes. However, offerors who wish to conduct a site visit may request one.

Upon receipt of a request, the Government will coordinate with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to arrange the visit. All offerors will be given the same opportunity and information consistent with FAR requirements.

All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12444726Q0016 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Conecuh National Forest - Mulching Project. This is a service contract to provide vegetation reduction on the Conecuh National Forest (mulching/grinding/masticating/chipping). The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. 

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 115310  The small business size standard is $12 million.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
