Description
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a single source basis to London Stock Exchange Group, PLC; 10 Paternoster Square, London, ED4M 7LS, United Kingdom for online access to Stock Exchange Daily Official List (SEDOL) data. The NAICS code is 518210. The contracting officer has determined that London Stock Exchange Group, PLC is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC’s requirement in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b). The SEDOL Masterfile contains unique identifiers assigned to securities in the United Kingdom and Ireland. These identifiers are in use in data sets from other vendors, from whom the numbers are downloaded for use on the SEC services. The London Stock Exchange Group is the only source identified that can meet the SEC’s requirement.
The period of performance for the purchase order is one year. The total estimated value of this purchase order is below the simplified acquisition threshold.
