This opportunity involves the USDA Forest Service seeking renovation services for a ranch-style duplex at Fort Simcoe Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in White Swan, WA. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, SPOC East Office, Washington, DC - Fort Simcoe Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center, White Swan, WA - Scope of Work: - Interior and exterior renovation of duplex units, including: - Roofing repairs and installation of metal roof panels - Replacement of windows (Energy Star certified vinyl), exterior and interior doors (steel and wood), and cabinets (architectural wood) - Installation of resilient and luxury vinyl plank flooring - Replacement of plumbing fixtures, domestic water softeners, and electric heat pump water heaters (e.g., Rinnai REHP Series) - Mechanical equipment upgrades, including split-system heat pumps (3-ton, Energy Star certified) - Electrical system upgrades: panelboards, wiring devices, LED lighting fixtures, and smoke alarm systems - Installation of aluminum gutters, gypsum board, countertops, and painting - All work must comply with the latest International Code Council Family of codes and the National Electric Code - Products/Services Requested: - Metal roofing panels, aluminum gutters, steel and wood doors, vinyl windows, flooring, water softeners, heat pump water heaters, split-system heat pumps, panelboards, wiring devices, LED lighting, plumbing fixtures, and associated construction services - Lump sum pricing for base and optional rehab items - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with current building and electrical codes - Energy Star and EPA Watersense certifications for applicable products - Warranties: 10 years for metal roof finishes and water heaters, lifetime for water softener tanks - Small business set-aside under NAICS code 236118 - No specific OEMs or part numbers are mandated, but Rinnai is referenced for heat pump water heaters

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Choose an item. are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12441926Q0028 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Interior and exterior renovation of an existing ranch style duplex. Including but not limited to the following: Roofing repairs and patching to metal roof. Window replacements. Door replacements. Cabinet replacements. Plumbing fixture replacement. Water softener replacements. Mechanical equipment replacement. Replacement panelboards, receptacles, switches cover plates, light fixtures, and smoke alarm systems. Drawings indicate locations of tasks but do not specifically indicate details of construction or incidental work required to accomplish those tasks. All work shall adhere to the most recent versions of the International Code Council Family of codes including Fire Code, Residential Code, Mechanical Code and the National Electric Code.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 236118  The small business size standard is $45 million  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
