California State University Channel Islands is seeking bids for up to two General Construction Job Order Contracts (JOCs) to support a wide range of campus construction and maintenance needs. - Government Buyer: - California State University, Channel Islands (CSUCI) - Office of Procurement & Contract Services - Oversight by The California State University Office of the Chancellor, Capital Planning, Design and Construction - OEMs and Vendors: - The Gordian Group (provider of the proprietary JOC Solution and Construction Task Catalog required for proposal preparation and contract execution) - Products/Services Requested: - General construction, repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, demolition, and minor new construction services for campus infrastructure, buildings, and other real property - Contractors must use The Gordian Group's eGordian JOC applications and Construction Task Catalog for all price proposals and contract requirements - Quantities and Contract Structure: - Up to two contracts, each with a maximum value of $1,000,000 - Indefinite quantity, firm fixed price agreements - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Bidders must be prequalified with the Trustees, hold a valid California General Building Contractor (B) license, and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) for public works - Mandatory pre-bid conference attendance required to receive bid packages - Small business preference and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation requirement and incentive - All bidding and addenda managed through Planet Bids - Strict compliance with California prevailing wage, quality, safety, and environmental standards - Place of Performance: - California State University Channel Islands campus, 1 University Dr., Camarillo, CA 93012 - Potential for work at other California State University campuses as specified in individual Job Orders

Description

This solicitation is for the award of up to two separate Job Order Contracts (JOC) for general construction services at California State University Channel Islands. The contracts are firm fixed price, indefinite quantity agreements for repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, demolition, and construction of campus infrastructure and buildings. Bidders must be prequalified, hold a California General Building Contractor (B) license, and comply with prevailing wage laws. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held via Zoom, and bid packages will only be provided to attendees who are prequalified.
