California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) is seeking qualified firms to provide university-wide American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting and transliterating services to support Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf Blind individuals across all academic and campus activities. - Government Buyer: - California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), Contracts and Procurement Office - Managed by Disability Support Services (DSS) - Services Requested: - Professional ASL interpreting and transliterating services for classroom instruction, exams, labs, advising, student services, co-curricular programs, commencement, campus events, and urgent communication needs - Services delivered both in-person at CSUF locations and remotely via university-approved platforms - Estimated support for 4-12 Deaf or Hard of Hearing students per term - Key Requirements: - Interpreters must hold Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or National Association of the Deaf (NAD) certification - Experience in higher education settings required - Adherence to the RID Code of Professional Conduct and confidentiality per FERPA - Timely staffing and provision of qualified replacements as needed - Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act - No specific OEMs or named vendors; open to all qualified service providers - Period of Performance: - Initial three-year contract with two optional one-year extensions (up to five years total) - Firm rates for years 1-3; optional years 4-5 may allow up to 3% annual rate adjustments with approval - Place of Performance: - California State University, Fullerton campus and remote delivery as required

California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide university-wide American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting and transliterating services.
