This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY in support of the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) Desert Southwest (DSW) Region. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified vendors interested and capable of/to meet the requirements in accordance with the following

Install and perform generator (GFE) (manufacturer- Cummin) and transfer switch start-up and testing at multiple DSW locations:

Attachment 1- Christmas Tree Pass microwave site located near the community of Palm Gardens, Nevada.

Attachment 2- Newman Peak microwave site located near Picacho, Arizona.

Attachment 3-Tower Mountain microwave site located near Crown King

2. Power system generator replacement- purchase of a replacement and installation services

Attachment 4- Lolamai Point microwave site located near the community of Kayenta, Arizona

 Attachment 4a- Caterpillar Generator, Automatic Transfer Switch and Manual Transfer Switch specifications

Interested Vendors, please advise of 1) business size, and 2)point of contact information. To be considered as a small business for this scope is the size standard for NAICS Code 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance $12.5M. or 238210 Electrical Contractors and other Wiring Contractors $19.0M

After review of the responses to this announcement, the Government may proceed with the acquisition, and a subsequent solicitation may be published.
