99 SFS CCTV Maintenance Notice of Intent to Sole Source

All FAR references shown below are in accordance with the Revolutionary Far Overhaul

1. DESCRIPTION OF ACTION:

The 99th Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order under the authority of 6.103-1(b) One responsible source. Agencies may contract without providing for full and open competition when the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. For DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, this authority extends to situations where only a limited number of responsible sources can satisfy agency requirements.

2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:

The requirement is for CCTV Maintenance.

Please see attached SOW for further information.

3. SUBMISSION OF CAPABILITY STATEMENTS

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. 

Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement.  All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government.

A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response.  A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source procurement.
