Description

The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) proposes to enter into a contract with Illumina in San Diego, CA, on a basis of other than full and open competition. This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to perform services for brand name equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested, the Government shall consider capability statements.

This requirement is for a base year contract with 2 options years, with pricing across all years. The Biological Defense Research Directorate/Genomics and Bioinformatics requires a comprehensive full-service maintenance/repair plan for NextSeq 2000 Silver Support Plan S/N VH02191 ECN 113672 (Illumina NovaSeq 2000 Silver Support Plan, Cat# 20040667). Specific items include:

  1. Full coverage for OEM parts and labor/travel for OEM certified and authorized service technicians.
  2. No-cost replacement of proprietary reagents lost upon hardware failure.
  3. One on-site preventative maintenance (PM) visit done IAW OEM standards/requirements by OEM certified and authorized service technician(s).
  4. Remote technical support from OEM certified and authorized service technician(s). This support must be available for a minimum of 0600 - 1800, Monday - Friday.
  5. On-site response by OEM certified and authorized service technician(s) within two business days of an issue with the hardwares performance.
  6. Control software and hardware updates IAW OEM standards/requirements.
  7. On-site applications support and remote monitoring.
  8. Discounts on advanced training for laboratory/operator personnel.

The NAICS code for this action is 811210. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items.
