Description

SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the Military Repair Army Reserves restoration of an approximately 21,000-SF Area Maintenance Support Activity at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in Trenton, NJ. As part of the contract solicitation, the USACE intends to include the following sole source requirement:

Door Locks: The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand requirement for BEST locks to be installed for all doors that are included in this project. Superior Hardware Products and/or Southern Lock (GSA supplier) are the only two authorized vendors for this keying system. Best Coremax equipment will ensure consistent technology and meet the Army Reserve Criteria.

This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the requirement for a brand name or equal description for Best lock systems, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice.

All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein. Compatible system(s) must comply with Provision 52.225-12, Notice of Buy American Requirement-Construction Materials Under Trade Agreements, and Clause 52.225-11, Buy American-Construction Materials under Trade Agreements.
