The U.S. Forest Service is seeking annual toilet vault pumping services for recreation sites in the Green Mountain National Forest, covering the Rochester and Middlebury Ranger Districts. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service - Green Mountain National Forest - Rochester and Middlebury Ranger Districts - Services Requested: - Pumping solid and liquid waste from toilet vaults at multiple recreation sites - Addition of approximately 100 gallons of water to each vault after pumping - Transfer and disposal of waste at a facility compliant with state and federal regulations - Sites and Quantities: - Robert Frost Interpretive Trail: 1 vault (1000 gallons) - Texas Falls Observation Area: 1 vault (1000 gallons) - Texas Falls Picnic Area - A: 2 vaults (750 gallons each) - Texas Falls Picnic Area - B: 2 vaults (750 gallons each) - Chittenden Brook Campground - A: 1 vault (750 gallons) - Chittenden Brook Campground - B: 1 vault (750 gallons) - Moosalamoo Campground - A/B/C: 2 vaults each (617.5 gallons each) - Silver Lake Campground - A/B: 1 vault each (1000 gallons) - Silver Lake Day Use Area - C: 1 vault (750 gallons) - Lefferts Pond: 1 vault (1000 gallons) - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must add water to each vault post-pumping - Waste must be disposed of in accordance with all applicable regulations - Service required annually for a base year plus two option years - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation. - Place of Performance: - Recreation sites within Green Mountain National Forest, Vermont - Government office located in Rutland, VT

Description

The purpose of this solicitation is to pump solid and liquid waste from toilet vaults. Add 100 gallons of water to the vault after removal of waste. Transfer waste to a disposal facility in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Base year and 2 option years.

Toilet pumping and addition of water to vaults to occur between October 1st and November 15th.
