FEMA Region 4 is seeking qualified contractors to provide Level II Armed Security Guard Services in support of disaster recovery operations in Tennessee, specifically for DR-4898. - Government Buyer: - Department of Homeland Security (DHS) - Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region 4, Office of Chief Security Officer - Services Requested: - Level II Armed Protective Security Officer Services - Minimum of 5 officers available at contract start - Up to 25 officers deployable within 24 hours - Duties include access control, patrol, visitor processing, emergency response, and traffic control at FEMA disaster-related sites - Officers must be U.S. citizens, possess firearms permits, and meet security clearance requirements - Contractor provides uniforms, firearms, and supplemental equipment - Compliance with FEMA post orders, regulations, and reporting requirements - Unique Requirements: - Officers must be available for rapid deployment across multiple FEMA disaster-related facilities in Tennessee - Strict qualification standards for personnel, including licensing, training, and firearms proficiency - Contractor must demonstrate financial stability and past performance - Labor rates and wage determinations apply as per attachments - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are referenced; this is a service-based procurement - Period of Performance: - Base period of 90 days, with three 90-day option periods (up to 360 days total) - Place of Performance: - Various FEMA disaster-related federal facilities and operational sites throughout Tennessee, including Joint Field Offices, Disaster Relief Centers, and temporary military bases
