Description
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) proposes to renew an information collection under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This collection gathers data on mineral production for annual reports published by commodity, which are used by government agencies, educational institutions, research organizations, and the general public. The information supports the Mineral Commodity Summaries, providing preliminary estimates covering the previous year's nonfuel mineral industry. Public comments are requested to assess the necessity, accuracy, and burden of the collection.
